Creative is a skill which gives you a 50% chance to gain 1
after a failed action. As such it is most effective with cheaper tasks that have a high chance to fail, like shooting turrets, repairing equipment, or extinguishing fires.
Extinguisher-stealing
Pyromaniac scenarios aside, this makes it outshine the
Firefighter ability on
Roland, as it is more useful all around, and will also make his main job more efficient.
Still, the overall gain is only mediocre for a skill of the highest level, as you will have to fail an average of 8 actions per day to make it compare to better
-saving skills like
IT Expert.
This skill can also be useful while searching for hidden objects.
Stephen can probably get the most use out of it when he uses
Apprentice (or a book) to become a creative
Technician. Though it is also a helpful in combat, especially in combination with
Solid, and in combination with free actions from
Shooter and the like, which can trigger it, effectively turning special action points into generic
.
Lastly, this will make it a lot easier to solve the
MAD Kube. So you may not get shot quite as quickly by your crewmates for trying, though it will still be a useless and selfish thing to do.
