If Icon Mush: Kept

Creative is a skill which gives you a 50% chance to gain 1 Action Point after a failed action. As such it is most effective with cheaper tasks that have a high chance to fail, like shooting turrets, repairing equipment, or extinguishing fires.

Extinguisher-stealing Icon Pyromaniac scenarios aside, this makes it outshine the Icon Firefighter ability on Icon Roland, as it is more useful all around, and will also make his main job more efficient.

Still, the overall gain is only mediocre for a skill of the highest level, as you will have to fail an average of 8 actions per day to make it compare to better Action Point-saving skills like Icon IT Expert.

This skill can also be useful while searching for hidden objects.

Icon Stephen can probably get the most use out of it when he uses Icon Apprentice (or a book) to become a creative Icon Technician. Though it is also a helpful in combat, especially in combination with Icon Solid, and in combination with free actions from Icon Shooter and the like, which can trigger it, effectively turning special action points into generic Action Point.

Lastly, this will make it a lot easier to solve the Icon MAD Kube. So you may not get shot quite as quickly by your crewmates for trying, though it will still be a useless and selfish thing to do.

General effects

  • Upon failing an action, a 50% chance to gain 1 Action Point.
