| Enables a player to search for and scan planets. The Astro Terminal lets you scan nearby space in search of planets to explore. The information contained within is strictly reserved for navigators as to keep the crew 's morale up. |

Access to this terminal is always open to the whole crew, but Astrophysicists have particularly strong benefits when they work here.
Since each crew member has a different set of planets to analyze, and all work in progress is lost when the ship moves, energy can be spared if at most one person work on it at a time.
Main article: Astrophysics.
Actions
- Effect: Opens the
Astro Terminal
Public log: [Person] has accessed the AstroTerminal.
Terminal
- Effect: Finds a new planet
- With
Magellan Liquid Map on the Bridge, one zone is uncovered (which generates a
Private log).
- With
- Affected by:
Astrophysicist and
CPU Overclocking (reduce cost by 1
each)
Private log: You carried out a thermal scan and discovered a planet (OR) Scan attempt failed
- Requires: Must not be
Dirty
- Effect: Reveals 1 zone of the planet
-
Astrophysicist,
Quantum Sensors,
BIOS CPU Priority on Astro, and approaching/orbiting the planet show +1 zone each
- Cost becomes 1
when approaching/orbiting the planet.
-
- Affected by:
IT Expert,
Astrophysicist,
Quantum Sensors and
BIOS CPU Priority.
Public log: [Person] carried out an analysis of [planet].
- Effect: Deletes entirely the planet, there is no longer any possibility to go there.
Private log: You have removed a planet from your workspace
