Bridge

The Command Terminal is an equipment located in the Bridge. The Icon Commander can pilot Daedalus from this terminal. Can be dirty. When the PILGRED Reactor is repaired, it offers the option to return to earth, which ends the game instantly. Also offers the option to go to Eden if the Pilgred is repaired and the coordinates of Eden have been calculated.

Steering the DAEDALUS

This section shows and allows to change the current direction of the DAEDALUS.

?Action Point Change Heading: ?

  • Effects:
    • The DAEDALUS changes direction.
    • Icon Confirm: If hunters are surrounding the ship, it might be that the operation is unsuccessful, and both hunters and DAEDALUS are damaged.
    • The cost is of 1Action Point for each 90° angle that needs to be made (note that 270° might be necessary if a Lateral Reactor is broken)
  • Icon Public log: ??

Moving the DAEDALUS

1Action Point Leave Orbit/Move

  • Requires: No Arrack is attached to the DAEDALUS, at least 1 unit of Fuel is loaded in the Combustion Chamber
  • Effect: The DAEDALUS starts moving, and will reach its destination at the next cycle change.
    • All Fuel in the Combustion Chamber is consumed: this determines the distance traveled by the DAEDALUS.
    • If any expedition is in progress, any member is immediately killed, and the Icarus is definitely lost.
    • If any pilot is currently flying, he/she is immediately killed (unless NERON project Magnetic Net is complete). This also applies to piloting drones.
    • At cycle change, a fraction of the hunters will catch up with the DAEDALUS
    • If the Daedalus is in infinite space, and a planet currently available at the Astroterminal is precisely at the right distance in the right direction, its orbit will be reached. In any other case, the Daedalus will reach a new position in infinite space
    • All current planets in the Astroterminal are lost. New ones can be immediately scanned as if the destination was instantly reached.
  • Icon Public log: ??

PILGRED

2Action Point Return to Sol

  • Requires: PILGRED Reactor is complete
  • Effect: The DAEDALUS returns to Sol
    • Pilots flying or expedition members are brought along
    • The game ends, with a human win if, and only if, no Icon Mush are alive.
  • Icon Public log: ??

2Action Point Go to Eden
