Plastenite armor is made from bio-sensitive latex and highly flexible materials, which make it light, comfortable, and almost invisible. Some find it a little effeminate and compare it to a military version of Spanx control pants. We're guessing that the moulded breastplate doesn't help. Truth is though, you're better off looking ridiculous than dead.

Plastenite Armor protects its wielder from harm sustained by combat scenarios - either onboard or during an expedition - but does not protect against other sources of damage (Steel Plates, Room Shaking, hurting yourself etc.). The interaction with Icon Hard Boiled is wonky at best; there have been reports of the effects canceling each other out.

This is generally a useful item for Icon Chun to carry, as she may expect hostility from the Icon Mush onboard, and her possession of it means that a Mush won't use it to protect themselves. Other than that, it has general utility for expeditions, though one must keep in mind that it only provides personal protection rather than expedition combat strength.

General effects

  • Damage taken during combat is reduced by 1 Health Point.
  • Damage taken by the wielder after a Combat exploration event is reduced by 1 Health Point.
