In Mush, human characters can be afflicted by a variety of illnesses, a type of negative status which, while lacking decisive official in-game distinction, are classified on Mushpedia as
diseases (physical),
disorders (psychological) and
injuries (requiring surgery).
Diseases
These are physical illnesses, often affecting
and
.
Diseases can be cured using the
Medikit, certain medicines (randomized every game) or by the passing of time.

Disorders
These are psychological illnesses, often affecting

Disorders can be cured by
Shrink treatment (more details on the skill page) and certain medicines (randomized every game).
Injuries
These are physical traumas which are typically contracted through combat, bringing various disadvantages.
Healing is performed with the Surgical Pod in Medlab, either by a
Medic or via DIY Surgery (the latter being more
intensive).
