Door

In-game Description Maintenance Stats
The doors of the Daedalus are fragiles and have the infuriating habit of jamming... If you find a broken one, report it to an engineer. Whatever it's made of, regardless of its density or condition , a door always leads somewhere.

Location

40 doors across the Deadalus

The Doors allow to move from room to room in the ship.

Clicking on a door will make your caracter cross it if it is already standing next to it, or walk to it otherwise.

Cost

Crossing a door costs 1 Movement Point. If no Movement Point is available, Action Point is used instead to generate (normally) 3 Movement Point, which is then spent moving.

The conversion cost can be affected by:

Blocked Doors

Their are several cases in which crossing a door is impossible:

  • It is broken: some doors may break automatically at cycle change, others may be sabotaged by mush using Icon Doorman.
    • The door will appear marked in yellow in the Map while your character is on the same room as the broken door, or with the NERON project Defective Piston Sensors.
  • You have run out of Movement Point and Action Point
  • You are trying to go to Icarus Bay but there are already 4 people there (6 with NERON project Large Bay Upgrade)
  • You are trying to leave a Guardian.pngguarded room by another way from which you came
  • You are victim of a disabling Icon Injury

Logs

Logs are generated in both rooms:

[Character] left the room
[Character] entered the room

However, a Icon Tracker can see which room you went to/came from.
