Origins
1 x Produced by adult, healthy, watered Banana Tree each Cycle 1 2 x Found in Garden when the ship starts on Day 1

Bananas are fruits produced by each adult Banana Tree at the beginning of Cycle 1, provided that it is not Diseased, Thirsty or Dried Out.

A Banana can be consumed and gives 1 1 , 1 and 1 satisfaction: humans who haven't eaten for long enough can eat a Banana followed by any other food.

A Banana can also be planted in an empty HydroPot: it will immediately create a Young Banana Tree, which will eventually grow and make its own daily production.

On long running ships, Janice is the person who is expected to eat the Banana due to how she can't recover as much as her crewmates.

As all other perishable consumables, if the FoodStuff Destruction setting on the BIOS is turned ON, the Bananas will be destroyed on day change, the destruction of food happens before the production of new Bananas.
