We REALLY need a table of symptoms and their effects. There's absolutely no in-game information about various symptoms, and they have a significant effect on gameplay. It also may be a bug but it seems that "Witnessing a death" occurs even if the death isn't witnessed by being in the room, but on the ship in general, not sure if that was intended or not. I agree about symptoms and effects. It's just a matter of actually spading the information. We could pull the info from french wiki for the time being, but my hesitation in doing that is that people may decide that's good enough and won't add the actual information.
I've never seen anyone get sick from "witnessing a death" without actually being in the room. Do you have a screenshot or anything like that where that happened? Spacekadt (talk) 08:18, 28 December 2013 (MST)
I wasn't able to see the flavour text for it happen at the time (It actually didn't seem to appear at all), but curiously I also saw it cause the same illnesses to me as to other players, and for those illnesses to clear up at the same time as they did for other players. On an unrelated note, could we do with another row for the diseases, disorders and illnesses tables for flavour text or should that go in the Details column? And someone may as well add the symptom table as a work in progress for now Devoirity (talk) 10:59, 7 January 2014 (MST)

Whomever took the time and effort to format and polish the article; thank you thank you thank you! It looks a LOT lovelier now, and it has set a great standard for other articles, as well as an example for expansion on the article. Thank you again! Devoirity (talk) 19:01, 8 January 2014 (MST)

table formatting

We really need to fix the tables toward the bottom of the page so the cause, details and description are better spaced. cause is too cramped, details are too big and description is also cramped Spacekadt (talk) 06:53, 13 January 2014 (MST)

Room Shaking and Morale

I seriously doubt room shaking reduces Morale. You must have witnessed day change. — Designer ividyon (talk)

Second that. Never seen that happen, ever. - Vio (talk) 18:41, 17 March 2014 (MDT)

Satisfaction info is incorrect?

I'm trying to figure out how satisfaction works exactly, and the description we have now is a good start but I don't think it's quite right. Right now it claims that your satisfaction can dip below 0, that you start starving at -24 satisfaction, and to end the starving status you have to bring up your satisfaction to 0 or above. But this would mean that once you're starving, you would need to eat 6 rations (-24 + 6*4 = 0), which is clearly wrong. It only takes 1 food item to end starving status, and I think even a coffee will do the trick? I think there must be 2 hidden variables, satisfaction (which controls fullness) and cycles to starvation (which resets to 24 every time you eat something other than a pill). In this scenario, the minimum satisfaction is 0. Once you hit 0, satisfaction stays at 0 until you eat, and only the cycles to starvation will change. This would explain why eating a single food item always ends starvation status, regardless of how long you've been starving for. --Zyzzyvette (talk) 02:30, 2 June 2017 (UTC)

It is correct. If a player that have satisfaction less 0 eats something, before any other calculations the satisfaction resets to 0. Innokentiy (talk)

If you're familiar enough with programming, you could get the satisfaction value from the game API, it's called "nurture" there. Innokentiy (talk)
