Neron large.pngNERON, the ship's main computer will post messages to everyone. These can be seen in the main chat window, with blue border around and NERON's icon before it. These serve as quick announcements about important things...usually. There are different triggers making these announcement with many linking to immediate alerts on the ship.

Types of Messages

Hazards

These are immediately posted when the hazards happen. Usually this happens at a cycle change, but anytime a Mush sabotages an equipment, it will shop up instantly too. This can be used to differentiate between sabotage and random events.

  • Hunters

NeronHunters.png

Neron will announce the appearance of hunter ships, with a corresponding hunter alertHunter icon.png. Hovering over the alert will let you know how many ships are outside.
  • Fire
  • Broken Equipment

Neronmalfunction.png

Neron will announce when equipment is broken, along with putting a broken equipment alert Broken.png in the status bar. Most equipment gets a generic message, but some like Oxygen Tanks, Fuel Tanks, and Neron Bios have their own specific messages.

Once someone clicks on the broken equipment and reports it, Neron posts another message that includes the reporting person and equipment name. Now when crew members hover the mouse icon over the broken equipment alert Broken.png, a pop-up will come up that includes the reporter and the location of the broken equipment. Droids too will now repair the equipment if they are in the same room.
  • Sabotaged Equipment

Communications

  • contact to Sol

Comms established.png

  • contact to Sol lost
  • Rebel Ship Communications

NeronComms.png

If contact is established with Sol, starting day 2 Rebel base will attempt to contact your ship. You will recieve the above message when there is a new base contact to decode. Pay attention to which cycle this occurs. The cycle chosen is random and different for each ship, but it will occur during that same cycle each day through day 7 for the duration of a given ship.

Death of a crew member

When a human or mush dies on the ship, Neron will make a post along with reason of death.

NERON Projects

  • The completed project is in bold font. The completed project is now listed in the bottom of the page, and a hovering over the image will provide a description of the project.

Title Assignments

  • Commander
  • Head of Communication
  • Administrator

Other Messages

  • Beginning of game messages
  • Shower disassembled
  • Neron Administrator - The Neron Administrator can make Neron Messages with the /neron tag

Alerts

As stated before, these will show up the instant it happens, not just at cycle changes. Each has their own icon and tooltip.

  • Hunters and enemy ships This will show the number of enemy ships, but not their types around the Daedalus. It always shows the exact number.
  • Fire and broken equipment Both having their own icons, it will show up when they happen. People need to report them to know the exact location or having the related project pinpoints them too. These can be located on the map afterwards.
  • Oxygen/Armor/Fuel getting low (Unsure about the fuel.) If your ship gets below a certain degree, NERON will announce it, so you have time to react accordingly. Oxygen and fuel can be replenished mainly on expeditions, while armor needs to be repaired by a technician.
  • No contact to Sol If you haven't established contact to Sol, or it got broken for some reason, this will show up.
  • Calm Technically not an alert, but it shows up there. This means that everything is fine and there are no immediate dangers on the ship.
