The Space Capsule can be a result of gathering scrap after a Hunter battle using the Pasiphae. It is an extra source of resources and blueprint components and costs 1 
to open.
The Space Capsule often contains one of the following items:
Can also contain material from destroyed transports:
Blasters
Grenades
HydroPots
Standard Rations (sometimes with a decay that makes them dangerous.)
Confirm: Are 
Lunchboxesand 
Bandages dropped in the Capsules?
As Fuel and Oxygen cannot be dropped, it is good to have a full inventory when opening Space Capsules, so those resources will appear on the shelf, to be picked up by anyone, rather than in your inventory.
