The Oscilloscope, which takes 1 Scrap Metal and 1 Plastic Scraps (as well as of course its Blueprint) takes 3 to assemble. It is your best friend if you're in charge of maintaining the hull of the Daedalus or the Patrol Ships. Not only does it double your rate of success, which saves on , but it doubles the hull points regained with each piece of Scrap Metal used (10 instead of 5). It should be assembled and kept in Alpha Bay 2, where the Scraps will automatically be stored every time someone collects them with the Pasiphae. The Oscilloscope needs to be in your inventory for the bonuses to apply. The Scrap Metal, however, can be left on the shelf.
