Infect

Infect is one of the default mush actions, all mush have this action available and no skill is required to unlock it.

The infect action is one of three ways that a mush player may attach a spore to a human player. The other two ways are by Fungal Kitchen and The Trapper, both required skills.

Once a human player has a number of spores attach to them they too will become mush. See Converting to mush.

At the start of ever game only 3 spores are needed, the human will convert to mush on the third. Later in the game this may change to 4 spores if the human players finished the Mushovore Bacteria Research.

Convert a human

Using infect to convert a human player into a mush.

Normally the human player is converted when receiving the third spore.

However in this next example the humans have finished the Mushovore Bacteria Research and now require 4 spores to be converted.

In the first two images Paola is human and does not know she has spores attached to her. By the third image Paola has been infected again and is now converted into a mush. The last image is later in the game. We can now see that Paola has chosen here mush skills and created their own spore.
