We REALLY need a table of symptoms and their effects. There's absolutely no in-game information about various symptoms, and they have a significant effect on gameplay. It also may be a bug but it seems that "Witnessing a death" occurs even if the death isn't witnessed by being in the room, but on the ship in general, not sure if that was intended or not.
