Infect is one of the default mush actions, all mush have this action available and no skill is required to unlock it.
The infect action is one of three ways that a mush player may attach a spore to a human player.
The other two ways are by Fungal Kitchen and The Trapper, both required skills.
It is also said that the infect action can be used on Schrödinger (confirmation needed).
Once a human player has a number of spores attach to them they too will become mush.
