Castings
Castings
Castings are currently available only to the French version of the Mush game, and are in Beta testing, which is due to end shortly. Castings are effectively groups or clans, similar to other portions of Twinoid. Castings are created via the expenditure of
earned or purchased in Mush.
Tickets for castings can be earned in various ways, the only two currently available to English Mush users is to be on a ship that lasts 10 days or more (ie: you reach day 11, cycle 1); or to purchase them with extended Gold mode selections. Each time aboard a ship on which 10+ days elapse, each member still alive at that point receives 1
. Gold Mode users may buy more tickets, see purchase options for details. On the French Mush,
are also accrued (up to a maximum of 2) for simply playing Mush. One
is earned for each ship completed, up to the maximum specified.
To create a casting (currently French version of Mush only) you need 3
. This will create a temporary Casting. To become a permanent casting, other Mush players must contribute a total of 45
.
Castings are so that groups of players can all join the same ship, and adventure together. As stated on the French wiki, and loosely translated: "The goal of Castings is to encourage large groups of players with the same aspirations and goals in gameplay..."
