:I guess if you're working on something but haven't uploaded it yet, it's best if you note it in the Discussion page of the article to avoid complications. Otherwise, you might as well edit and correct things at random if you ask me. I don't want to "assign" things to people, but it wouldn't be bad to edit the page with something like "spacey is working on this and update coming within the hour/day/whatever".
