Hey Vio - we could use some help with the wiki and reviewing changes that are put into the wiki. Are you willing to help "patrol" changes? If you're not familiar, shoot me a message in twinoid (I'm "spacekadt" there too) and I'll go into some more detail for you. :) Thanks! Skill descriptions

Thank you for filling in all these high-level skills!!! You must have played Mush for a looooong time... — Designer ividyon (talk) 11:16, 11 January 2014 (MST)

You are welcome. Actually I am a bronze player, though, and just filled in what I gatrhered from the forums and the french Twinpedia. That is why some of the fluff texts are improvised - I do not actually know what they really say. ;) --Vio (talk) 11:41, 11 January 2014 (MST)
Ooh, that may be a problem. I think spacey primarily wants official descriptions on the skills page. Still, better improvised translations than not knowing what these skills do.. (May wanna mark the unofficial translations with a {{Note| }} or {{Warn| }} template, though.) — Designer ividyon (talk) 12:05, 11 January 2014 (MST)
Well I figured that if someone who actually knows the real text comes by, they would edit it. As you say, better than having nothing / those ugly markers there. This only affects the fluff descriptions though. The bullet points are directly translated, or taken from forum citations, and the comments are comments anyway. --Vio (talk) 12:10, 11 January 2014 (MST)

Comms Page

Hey Vio - I rolled back the edit you made to the comms page because the location in the database is always the same. The order in which they're uncovered is random, of course, but not the location on the db grid. Spacekadt (talk) 13:17, 16 January 2014 (MST)

Ah, I see! I thought you could pick which one to "open", in which case it would have been silly not to randomize. Never been comms... Sorry, and thanks. Vio (talk) 19:32, 16 January 2014 (MST)

Patrolling Changes?

Hey Vio - we could use some help with the wiki and reviewing changes that are put into the wiki. Are you willing to help "patrol" changes? If you're not familiar, shoot me a message in twinoid (I'm "spacekadt" there too) and I'll go into some more detail for you. :) Thanks! Spacekadt (talk) 23:33, 9 February 2014 (MST)

I do tend to start at the "recent changes" and have a look at those pages, then do stuff like clean them up if needed. What exactly does "patrolling" involve? While I do enjoy adding new content I happen to know about, I did not plan to sink too much time into this. - Vio (talk) 07:51, 12 February 2014 (MST)
It's basically just that, except a red ! will appear next to changes that haven't been marked "patrolled" yet. For that, you will have a new button when viewing changes named "Mark as patrolled".
Also, like an admin's, your changes won't have to be patrolled, as you're considered trusted. — Designer ividyon (talk) 04:42, 12 February 2014 (MST)
If it is just that, sure, why not. Glad to help. - Vio (talk) 07:51, 12 February 2014 (MST)
