Standard Threads

A standard thread is any of the commonly seen threads used to coordinate activity across the ship. Usually the person starting the thread is also taking charge of that activity.

On ships with new players a standard thread should contain some basic advice on how to proceed.

Report when you get **Dirty**.  Being Dirty without good reason can be considered Mush.
:tip: If you are Dirty, go to **Bravo Dorm** and use the **Shower** to //wash//.

Report injuries and low morale here if you need help.
:tip: Go to **Medlab** and //heal yourself//.

Report your skills and assign jobs.

The first moments before all crew members are awake should be //Neutral Play//.  Explore the ship and get to know others, but avoid actions that give an advantage to either team.
:tip: Search the **Storage Areas** for useful items.
:tip: Install **Cameras** in **Alpha Dorm** and **Bravo Dorm**.  Additional cameras to the **Laboratory** and the **Bridge**.
:tip: Take the **Stainproof Apron** to the **Laboratory**.
:fire: Move **Fire Extinguishers** to the **Front and Rear Corridors**.
:eng: Dismantle the **Shower** in **Alpha Dorm**.

Access the **Comms Centre** on the **Bridge**.
:tip: Wait until the ship is full before //establishing contact// with Sol.

//Water plants// every day, towards the end of the day (cycle 8).
:tip: Young plants can be watered every other day, when they are //dry//.

Access the **Astro Terminal** on the **Bridge**.  Conduct a //planet scan// and then an //advanced analysis//.  Report findings here.

Discuss NERON projects before working on them.  Only one project from each set can be completed, the other two will be lost.

Request changes to BIOS settings.

Report progress here.  No more than 40% until Mush are eliminated.
