: sounds good to me, but then there's the question of parameter order: in ((AP|2)), 2 would represent the type, not the number, so we'd need  to write ((AP|n=2)) for "2 regular AP" if we don't want to write the type explicitely  [[User:Edfel|Edfel]] ([[User talk:Edfel|talk]])

Include quantity in templates?

A minor typographical tweak. Add a quantity slot to Template:AP and similar, then render the quantity-unit pair using a non-breaking space or (CSS) white-space: nowrap:

{{AP|type|n}} => N&nbsp;ICON

sounds good to me, but then there's the question of parameter order: in ((AP|2)), 2 would represent the type, not the number, so we'd need to write ((AP|n=2)) for "2 regular AP" if we don't want to write the type explicitely Edfel (talk)
